Mr. and Mrs. Edward Seney, of Delaware avenue, received word that their son, 2nd Lt. Roger Seney, was recuperating from an ear injury in a hospital in New Caledonia following his participation in an attack on Truk. No details were contained in the letter other than that Lt. Seney had received a punctured ear drum which would be operated on at a later date.
