DOBSON, PTE MARSHALL - Regimental # 3106729
Marshall Abraham Dobson was born July 9, 1892, the son of William and Martha (Richards) Dobson of Dunchurch.

Marshall Dobson enlisted February 4, 1918. He reported to Hamilton on February 15, 1918 and by February 21, 1918 had already embarked, arriving in England on March 4, 1918. On March 14 he was transferred to the 8th Reserve Battalion and April 3, 1918 was ‘taken on strength’ in the C.M.G.D. (Canadian Machine Gun Depot).
Like many soldiers, Marshall contracted mumps while in the service (May, 1918) but after a brief illness was able to return to active duty.
On June 3rd he was transferred to the 3rd CMG Pool of the 3rd Battalion
